Roshni Foundation Project - Tribal Day Celebration
11th August 2017 was celebrated as a "Tribal Day" to protect and present the rich culture in a unique and special way for the tribal students of 11 Zilla Parishad schools of Dahanu, adopted by Roshni Foundation. The event started with Saraswati puja, prayers, swagat geet and presentation of a few dances by tribal children. 4 eminent dance choreographers from Mumbai came to teach and entertain with different forms of dances. The event ended with the most fascinating Tarpa dance.
Most children participated in their traditional costumes making the entire atmosphere colourful and charming, representing the true essence of adivasi culture of India.
To add to their fun, Dabar's Real juices and biscuits were distributed.
It was an atmosphere of thrill and excitement, fun and frolic, culture and tradition, colours and moods!
