Roshni Foundation Project - Welcome New Year with Great care and Love! Celebrate National Youth Day!

12 January 2018, the birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijabai Bhosale & Swami Vivekanand and National Youth Day was marked by the Roshni Foundation with the significant projects.

1) Spread the Smile! Dental health Check-up for all! Dental Health Check-up was organized for 1750 tribal students of its adopted 13 Zilla Parishad Schools of Dahanu. Each student was given one toothbrush and toothpaste. Free treatment was given to all needy students.

2) AWarm Winter Welcome! Sweater Distribution! Soft, lightweight and warm sweaters welcomed chilling days of winter and said goodbye to dry skin. 1750 brand new maroon colored sweaters were distributed to all students of 13 Z.P. schools th on 12 January 2018. Proud, thrilled and excited children wore these sweaters on Prabhat Feri on 69 Republic Day, every morning, and made costumes for cultural events..... Happiness prevailed in the air!

3) Adoption, Donation, Inauguration, Celebration! Growth is a Sign of Progress! Progress is a sign of pleasure! One more step towards achievement and accomplishment! One more feather in the cap of the Roshni Foundation! We adopted two more Zilla Parishad Schools namely Shisane and Vankas reaching to its total 12 Z.P. Schools and 1300 underprivileged tribal Adivasi children in the academic year 2017- 18.

4) Books – The Best friends! Sports – The Lifeline! More than 800 library books of various subjects were donated to the Vankas and Shisane schools on 13 Jan 2018. Sports equipment like carrom boards, bats, balls, foot balls and a pump, volley balls, badminton racquets, shuttlecocks, skipping ropes, Frisbees, indoor games etc. were donated.

5) Soles for Souls! A Pair of good shoes can change your life! Now let climate be rainy or sunny, Shoes will care for soles of each bunny; Let terrain be hilly or harsh, sharp or tough, Souls will smile with the shoes – inner soft, outer tough! A Total of 1000 pairs of shoes were distributed.
