900 PLANTS IN ONE DAY!!!

ROSHNI FOUNDATION celebrated “GO GREEN” day on 1st July 2016 in Dahanu. The Trustees, teachers and students took out March past - “Prabhat Feri” in the villages, planted 200 saplings in and around 8 Zilla Parishad Schools and villages adopted by the Trust.

700 saplings were gifted to each student who planted near their homes. Each Student was given a banana by the trust and importance of Tree Plantation was explained. Maharashtra Forest department recognized their efforts and the Trust’s name is uploaded in their website- www.mahaforest.nic.in The Trust donated 40 big dustbins to all schools and eight villages to collect biodegradable and plastic waste separately!!!
